Mr. M. N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice Supreme Court of India
M. N. Venkatachaliah (born October 25, 1929) was the 25th Chief Justice of India. He served as Chief Justice from 1993 to 1994. In retirement, he has continued to work on anti-corruption and human rights issues, including support for the launch of the Initiatives of Change Centre for Governance in 2003. He was awarded Padma Vibhushan in 2004.




 
Justice Markandey Katju, Supreme Court of India
Markandey Katju is a sitting Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

He was born in Allahabad on 20-9-1946. His grandfather Kailash Nath Katju, was well known in the fields of law and politics.

Katju was appointed as a judge of the Allahabad High Court in 1991, as its Acting Chief Justice in August 2004, as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court in November 2004, and as the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court in October 2005. He was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court of India in April 2006.

Justice Katju’s background is noteworthy because of his record of academic excellence and his family’s achievements in the field of Law. He was a brilliant scholar and topped the merit list of the Allahabad University's LLB examination of 1968.

Justice Katju has served as a Member, International Association of Refugee Law Judges (IARIJ). He is a legal luminary and has written several notable books. These include ‘Law in the Scientific Era’, ‘Interpretation of Taxing Statutes’, ‘Mimansa Rules of Interpretation’ and ‘Domestic Enquiry’.



Mr. N. Ram Editor in Chief, The Hindu
Narasimhan Ram also known as N. Ram(born May 4, 1945) is an Indian journalist.

He has been the Editor-in-chief of The Hindu since June 27, 2003. Ram also heads the other publications of The Hindu Group such as Frontline, The Hindu Business Line and Sportstar, and has been awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.

N. Ram is a tech-savvy editor and public intellectual. He is on Facebook and loves his gadgets. He surfs the Internet on the go from the two high-end mobile phones he carry.



Prof. Dr. Gopi Chand Narang
Prof. Dr. Gopi Chand Narang is an Indian scholar of Urdu language and literature, an eminent Urdu writer, scholar, critic and linguist. He is author of many books in Urdu, Hindi and English.

He got many awards from the governments of India and Pakistan and many literary organizations worldwide. He was awarded Padma Bhushan in 2004. He taught in many universities in India and participates in literary conferences around the world. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in Urdu 1993 for Sheriyat, later he remained the president of the Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters, 2003 to 2007.
